User management - userguide

Userguide:
Create new user:
Go to page of desired organization or publisher by clicking on its name from your profile page.
Process of creating a new user for selected organization/publisher can be started by clicking button "create user".
From organization level it is possible to set permissions for organization, its publishers and websites. From publisher level it is possible to set permissions for selected publisher and its websites.

On the first page of user creation wizard, please fill all fields with nessecery user data and continue by clicking "submit" button.

Second step of user creation wizard will allow to set required permissions for the user. You can select permissions separately for each website/publisher, or select permissions only once for desired "parent object"(organization/publisher), to set the same permisions for its "descendant objects"(eg. websites for publisher) and itself(eg. publisher).

Example:
Organization A:
-publisher 1
-publisher 2:
--website 2.1
--website 2.2

Choosing option "Set as user" only for organization A and clicking "submit" button will grant, newly created user, normal user privileges for organization A, publisher 1, publisher 2, website 2.1 and website 2.2 .
Choosing option "Set as user" for organization A and "Set as administrator" for publisher 2, will grant normal user privileges for organization A and publisher 1, however in publisher 2 and its websites, newly created user will be recognized as an administrator. Without selecting "set as user" for organization A, new user would have been set only as an administrator of publisher 2 and its websites, without rights of normal user in organization A and other publisher.

Manage User:
A) Manage users of my websites:
Go to profile page and click "manage" link, which is next to the username of user you want to manage in "Website users" table.

B) Manage users of organization/publisher:
Go to page of desired organization or publisher by clicking on its name from your profile page. Click "manage" link, which is next to the username of user you want to manage in "Website users" table.

From newly opened form, it is possible to change permissions of chosen user for the website/publisher/organization, by selecting desired action from dropdown menu, which is next to the name of website/publisher/organization. However, new permissions won't be changed cascaded as it was during the creation of a new user. For each object it is necessary to change permissions separately.
